How We Turn Struggles Into Success

Our one-on-one academic therapy program is designed to help your child build the framework he or she needs for school success.

A student who falls behind in school often has missed learning essential skills—and as new learning builds on those essentials, he or she can fall further behind.  Framework Learning helps stop that cycle by providing high-quality, individualized instruction that targets your child's skill weaknesses.  With the right tools, your child doesn't have to struggle at school—he or she can be successful!

At Framework Learning, we teach and guide in ways that help students grasp the essential skills they've missed out on.  As those foundation skills are developed, we build on them with the goal of helping your child reach grade-level performance. This happens through instruction that follows a structured and logical progression from direct instruction in basic skills and understanding to more complex learning. All the while, there is repetition and practice to reinforce old and new concepts.  All instruction is geared to your child's specific needs, and the pace of learning Is determined by your child's progress.

Framework Learning's sequence of services is designed to uncover your child's unique strengths and weaknesses, while ensuring a consistently positive experience.  Every step of the way, we are partners with you in supporting your child's educational growth.
  • Your experience with Framework Learning begins with a personal consultation—free of charge.  We will ask you to share your child's current struggles, strengths, and school experiences to gain a better understanding of the problems your child is experiencing.
  • Assessment will provide information about your child's performance on academic tasks.
  • Based on the results of the assessment, Framework Learning will design an instructional program to guide your child's learning experience. We'll discuss with you the approach we plan to take and project how long instruction will be needed.
  • Your child will attend lessons at Framework Learning. We will meet with you periodically to update you on his or her progress.
The time span for instruction varies according to your child's needs and progress. A child who is a year or more below grade level in reading, writing, or math didn't fall behind overnight, and progress won't happen overnight, either. Your child's instructional program may cover just ten or twelve sessions, or it may anticipate continuing instruction over a period of several months.
If you suspect that your child has a learning difference, contact Framework Learning to access these services for your child.
